| Bulgarian Land Development Invests in New Ski Resort |
By:News.bg, 10-12-2007 - At the end of 2006 BLD acquired a 56,093 sq m area, 8 km from the center of Borovets, near the lower-end of a ski lift that will be built as part of the resort's future expansion.
The proceeds from the sale of the resort apartments were estimated at 50 million EUR.
The project foresees construction of a resort complex of villas and apartments with total built-up area in the range of 50,000 sq m.
There will be 820 apartments in nine residential buildings featuring 120-bed hotel. The construction sites are expected to start in 2008, informed from the daily.
BLD has so far invested around 30 million EUR in Bulgaria. It has several developments in progress on the Black Sea coast and others on Pamporovo and Bansko ski resorts.
